Mental Health Sponsored Residential

Our flagship service provides a real home – not a facility – for adults 18 and older with serious mental illness or significant behavioral health needs. A trained live-in caregiver is on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

We accept private pay, SSI/SSDI, Auxiliary Grant funding, and VA Aid and Attendance benefits for veterans and surviving spouses.

Care Coordination

We believe that excellent care happens when every member of a person’s team is working together – with clear communication, shared goals, and a unified commitment to that person’s well-being.

Our care coordination services ensure that no client ever falls through the cracks between providers. We serve as the connective tissue between the individual, their clinical team, their case manager, their family, and the broader community of support around them.

What Is Included:

– Scheduling and coordination of all medical, psychiatric, and therapeutic appointments
– Transportation to and from all appointments
– Regular communication with CSBs, case managers, and treatment teams
– Participation in ISP, treatment plan, and discharge planning meetings
– Transition planning and coordination for individuals moving between levels of care
– Benefits navigation, resource referrals, and community linkages
– Family updates and communication (with appropriate consent)

Behavioral Support and Skill Building

For individuals who face challenges with emotional regulation, behavior management, or the everyday skills needed to navigate life safely and independently, our behavioral support services offer structured, compassionate, and individualized intervention.

Our trained direct care staff work alongside each individual to understand what drives challenging behaviors, identify healthy replacement strategies, and build the practical coping skills needed to function with greater confidence, independence, and dignity.

What Is Included:

– Individualized behavioral support plans based on each person’s needs and goals
– Positive reinforcement strategies and behavior modification techniques
– De-escalation techniques and crisis prevention
– Emotional regulation and coping skills training
– Social skills development and community integration support
– Close collaboration with treating clinicians, case managers, and family members
– Ongoing documentation and progress monitoring

Treatment Foster Care – Coming Soon

Stellaris Keystone Services is currently in the process of becoming a Licensed Child-Placing Agency (LCPA) authorized to provide Treatment Foster Care services in Virginia. This program will provide children and adolescents with significant emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs a safe, structured, family-based living environment – paired with intensive therapeutic support, trained and supervised treatment foster families, and ongoing clinical oversight.
